When will my server be ready?
Usually within 48 to 72 hours after your order has been placed and verified.
What comes installed on the server?
ZingServe will install the Red Hat OS, including the Exim mail server, MySQL and PHP, Bind, and other standard software packages. We will also install a software-based firewall, IDS, and other security related packages. If you would like any additional software/ packages added to your server you must request it when ordering. We will attempt to accommodate these requests if possible and notify you of any additional charges if required.
Can I send you hardware to add to my server?
Sorry, we do not currently allow customers to add their own hardware.
Can I get a custom configuration in the setup of my server?
Usually we can accommodate special configuration requests, just let us know what you need prior to placing your order. If additional charges will apply we will notify you in advance.
Do I have root access to my server?
Yes, you will have root access to your server. Can I install my software after the server is online?
You may install additional software on the machine once the server is online. Third party software is not supported by our technical support team.
Are your servers fully managed?
Yes, we provide complete server management. Please refer to the Dedicated Servers page for more details.
Do you offer free upgrades and patches?
We will automatically install any upgrades and patches to your Operating System.
Do you monitor my server and notify me of outages?
Yes, all servers are monitored and our technicians will respond to any issues and notify you according to your custom escalation procedure.
Do you have 24/7/365 support?
Yes, we have NOC personnel onsite 24/7/365 for reboots and assistance with your servers.
What is the preferred method of support?
Our support ticket system is the preferred method of support and is monitored 24x7/ 365.

How much do you charge for additional IP addresses?
Additional IP addresses are $1 per month, plus a $10 setup fee. IP addresses must be ordered in blocks of 8 IP addresses.
How Much Bandwidth is offered with my server?
Between 1200GB and 2000GB of bandwidth per month, depending on the package selected.
How is my monthly bandwidth calculated?
Bandwidth is calculated by totaling both your inbound and outbound traffic together for the entire month.
What is the charge for going over the allotted bandwidth?
The cost for bandwidth overage is $1.25 per GB.
How can I access my server remotely?
You can access the server via SSH.
Do you offer control panels for your servers?
Yes, Cpanel with WHM is included. If you do not want a control panel, you must request this prior to ordering.
Do you allow Adult Content on your servers?
No - adult content is NOT allowed on our servers.
Do you allow IRC services on your servers?
No, at this time we do NOT allow IRC services. Can I pay for my server using PayPal?
Yes, PayPal is accepted and is the preferred payment method. We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, and AMEX.
When will I be billed?
Your billing cycle starts on the day you sign up. That day of the month will be your bill date every month.
If I cancel my server do I get a refund?
We do not issue refunds for prepaid services. If you wish to cancel your server you will need to do so ten (10) days before your next billing cycle. |
